Roxanne Elizabeth arrived last night. She weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20 inches long. It was a long process, but we are so glad she is here. I ended up being induced due to signs of preeclampsia and we are glad she is a week early because she was bigger than expected. She had a hard time fitting through my small pelvis. Dr. said if she was any larger it would have been a C-section. We spent 34 hours in the hospital (monitoring, cervadil, pitocin; taking forever to dilate from 2-10) before pushing over 2 hours to get her here. Jon was amazing considering that he gets queasy seeing an ultrasound of a beating heart. He stayed by my side through the whole thing, he got to announce the gender and cut the umbilical cord. He is totally in love with his little girl. They enjoyed an evening in a rocking chair watching ESPN Sports Center last night, discussing and teaching her what teams they liked.

Congrats on a beautiful baby! Roxy is so cute! We'll have to look you up when you move to Omaha. Clint's brother Jon and his family live there. Jon is in dental school at Creighton. We'll probably be out there some time this summer. We are so happy for you two!!
